Do we dare wish for global acceptance of a recent directive to the London, England police? It highlights landlords as the probable culprits in landlord/tenant disputes over evictions. Rather than cozying up to landlord-citizens, the police are being instructed to support tenant-citizens. If the eviction appears to be illegal, police are encouraged to cast their jaundiced eyes and wave their handcuffs towards the landlords rather than tenants.
